Anyone can shop at FinlandiaShop, both business and private customers are welcome.

 

Private Customers

You must be 18 years or older.

You can order items without registration.

We retain the right to refuse an order.

 

Tracking Your Orders

If you are a registered customer, you can browse your orders and track the delivery of items by logging into the system using your password through the "Log In" link.

If you are not a registered customer, you can track your order through the or Customer Service Department. Be prepared to issue us with the delivery code for your order. This ensures faster service.

 

PAYMENT

Pricing of Items

EU Countries

The prices shown in the online store and charged on your invoice include all taxes as determined by Finnish Legislation. eg; food products 12%, books 8%, other products 22%. This applies only for goods delivered inside the EU.

 

Other Countries

The prices shown in the online store and charged on your invoice do not include taxes when delivered outside the EU.

 

The recipient of the order is responsible for all local taxes, toll fees and other such payments. These are sometimes incurred with shipping costs

The total amount owing for your order is simply determined by adding together the price of all the items in your shopping cart, plus the cost of delivery.

Note: The final cost for the products in your shopping cart and method of shipping will be shown as separate charges for your approval prior to payment.

DELIVERY

Shipping

Deliveries are handled by the Finnish Postal Corporation or Fedex . When delivering outside of Finland you can choose different alternatives and methods.

All orders sent out of the EU Region will include a customs clearance note CN22, the invoice for your goods with the required tariffs etc attached to it.

Delivery Times

The delivery time of your order is made up of two parts, the processing of your order and the shipment.

The processing time of your order can vary depending on availability of product and our current stock levels.

Generally goods will be shipped within 2-7 working days from receipt of order. We will do our best to deliver goods on time and undamaged to any destination around the world.

Delivery Costs

The shipment costs are priced according to the item, the packaging, the location and the total weight and volume of the goods.

Products that have light net weight tend to have a high volume weight due to the amount of packaging used, and the total size of the shipment taking up space. Some of these types of products are, glass objects, plates, mugs and some seasonal products such as decorations.

The material’s in which the goods are concealed affect the total weight of the product.

When shipping and selling products outside of the EU, it is the responsibility of the recipient to pay for all local taxes, toll charges and other such payments.

 

Liability for Faulty or Damaged Goods

All faulty goods or items damaged during the shipping process must be reported to our Customer Service Department within 24 hours of receiving the goods.

The retailer will strive to replace any faulty or damaged item, but if this is not possible all expenses will be fully refunded to the customer.

However the faulty or damaged item must first be returned to the retailer for inspection.

Finlandiashop will not refund or deliver a replacement item until it has been established as to where and when the fault or damage to the goods occurred.

 

RETURNS

Returns and Conditions Policy

This returns policy does is not extended to “Made to Order” products. Any products which have been produced or altered have been done so in accordance with the customer’s instructions. This was clearly indicated in the “Made to Order” product details section.

Customers can return or exchange goods to FinlandiaShop.fi providing they contact us within 14 days of delivery. This is in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Legislation.

Customers can return goods under the following terms and conditions:

1. The order has been cancelled and notification given to FinlandiaShop within 14 days of delivery.

2. The item has not been used

3. The item is returned in the same condition it was received in,

4. All parts included with the item are retuned and in its original packaging or equivalent

5. The item must be returned immediately after notification of cancellation

6. FinlandiaShop accepts no responsibility for goods sent for return or exchange and become damaged during transit. We therefore suggest insuring all items valued over 50 Euros.

7. FinlandiaShop will not accept any goods sent for exchange or refund if it is established the goods were not damaged during its original shipping.
